AZAADE 5th Annual Conference with Phoenix Childrens Hospital Diabetes Program
The Annual Diabetes Symposium will provide diabetes educators the opportunity to learn concepts that will help empower diabetic patients to live healthier lives.
Co-Hosted by the Arizona State Coordinating Body of the American Association of Diabetes Educators and Phoenix Children's Hospital Diabetes Program. Special thanks to the Thomas Beatson Foundation.
This program provides 6.0 program hours of continuing education credit for nurses, pharmacists and dieticians

Differentiate diabetes related pediatric illness from general pedicatrics
Explain the link between diabetes and depression in adolescents
Describe low carbohydrate choices as intervention for diabetes management

Requirements for Successful Completion:
For successful completion, participants are required to be in attendance in the full activity, complete and submit the program evaluation at the conclusion of the educational event.
